FETTUCCINE ALFREDO WITH SHRIMP AND
BROCCOLI
1 lb. fresh shrimp
Fresh broccoli
1 pt. heavy cream
1 pt. light cream
1 stick butter
Parsley flakes
1/2 lb. grated cheese (Parmesan)
12 oz. fettuccine
Clean and Devin shrimp, steam until orange and drain. Prepare fettuccine as label directs. Steam broccoli. Over medium heat, put cooked fettuccine, shrimp and broccoli into large pot. Add butter, cream, parsley and cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.

Cook your pasta, al dente(not mushy). When the pasta is cooked, drain it and put it in a saute pan over low heat. Add a cup of 1/2 and 1/2 or heavy cream and a 1/2 stick of butter. Once blended well, add enough shredded or grated parmesan cheese to get the proper consistency(creamy). You can either add already cooked shrimp to the final product, or raw peeled shrimp into the early stage of cooking the pasta and cream, cheese, and cheese. Cook until shrimp are pink in color and reasonably firm. Yeah, and a little garlic wouldn't hurt.

Martha Stewart has a wonderful recipe for a fantastically simple Alfredo, its basically adding the hot cooked pasta to butter and parmesan, let the pasta melt the Parm and butter just mix the pasta then add your shrimp. You can taste everything individually and it's delicious

Ingredients:
3/4 lb of any pasta
1 tbs butter
1 lb baby shrimp
1/2 tbs butter
1 tbs chopped Garlic
1 tbs chopped Parsley
1 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup Reggiano Parmigiano
Preparation:
Saute' shrimp, garlic and butter about 2 miinutes. Add parsley and saute' 1 minute. Add salt, pepper and heavy cream and reduce about 1/2 minute, add cheese and fold in the pasta.
