Why do so many people want to be tied down?
I just don't get it, why so many people want to be tied down by marriage. I mean most of it ends in divorce anyway, but even if it doesn't, there are so many freedoms you lose once ur married. I personally will never get married ever. I am 19 y/o guy and I know a lot of people say stuff like this when they r young, but I am know who I am and its not for me. So what I want to know is why do so many people get married, cant be just love cuz there r so many negatives that out weigh that????????????? Is it that lots of people need some one whos there to take care of them and be there when they r down or hurt?????
This may sound like I am against marriage or something and thats not it I just dont get why people would do this, they say its love but IS IT Really?? I think its something else

I think it's when people want to try to prove their love to other people besides each other.

actuall y it is love it seem like yyou never bee n from what you are saying. you know what we mean when you fall in love. ap erson whwo cares about you. it better be tied down anyway. do you want to 70 stillot married. do you want to be a pimp in the club still jumping ot one girl to the next. be the oldest one in the club. it is better having the person you want to spend your whole life with. the reason people get divorce because they think marraige work by itself. you have to put commentment and time. some people rush to get marraige. you will find that one when it is your time. you do not loose much freedom when your married.. you just loose not being able to be with different women. . love is a lot of things . it cause pain and pleasure.

I think maybe you should wait a couple years before you go off saying how bad marriage is. Marrying someone shows your devotion and undying love for someone. It shows you're responsible and are willing to take any chances there are to keep the two together. And honestly, not most marriages end in divorce. I hardly know anyone who has gotten a divorce.

My parents been married 30 years now and still love each other. If you don't want to get married then you will see girl would be breaking up with you because they would want to get married and you don't. Why would I date a guy that don't want to get married.

Interesting choice of words.. "Tied Down" In all the years I've been married, I'd never thought of it that way. Mariage may not be for you.

I want to date , love and may be married and i don't consider love as a tie but you are free to choose...
I can't persuade you to be like me because i can't explain it but i feel i'm borned to love ...
