The feasts of Israel have nothing whatsoever to do with jesus or his life. Jesus didn't exist.
Oh, and please do your own homework. It's ok to ask for ideas on what YOU have ALREADY got for ideas, but it's not ok to just plop down your homework assignment to us and expect us to do it for you.

Julia D you are DECEIVED. Jesus actually existed! Where do you get your information?
God PLANNED it all. The feasts deliberately fit the Lord Jesus because He PLANNED it all, his reason for coming, his reason for BEING, his death as the LAMB of God on the cross.... ALL the feasts were symbolizations of Him.
The blood on the door post, when applied was in the shape of a CROSS...
It really is hard to NOT see what God was saying via these feasts once Jesus had been here!
He came originally to the Jews, they SHOULD have seen and understoond just WHO and WHY he was, but they didn't, thus setting in motion, God's entire plan for mankind, that of the redemption by blood through the LAMB of God...

Hello Friendshipband.
The simplest solution to this question is:
Jesus was a Jew. He preached to the Jews, honored the Jewish
traditions and followed mosaic laws. It was only in his deliverance of
Gods New Covenant that he swerved from this, even with the
foreknowledge of it leading to His crucifixion. I see no reason to not
carry this train of thought through to the designs of God The Father
who, throughout all history, considered the Jewish People His Chosen
People. It is, to me, only natural for The New Covenant to be aligned
with the old.
Regards,
Lenny.
NOTE : To Julia D.
This is Religion & Spirituality. That means open questions different forms of belief, including Atheism. However :
1) Jesus is a historically verified person, scientifically accepted as having existed as a human being of significance.
2) As a forum open to the all the various forms of faith, discussions are better served by contributors respecting the beliefs of other members especially when presenting opposing views. I apply this to all all faiths.
I assume you are an Atheist. I and many others feel Atheists are incorrect in their beliefs as they feel we are in ours. This will come as no surprise to most nor give offence to any of Atheistic beliefs. Were I to jump in with a statement such as "believing in atheism is stupid" (an example, not my belief), would you consider it an intelligent discussion of the Atheistic belief or would you find it offensive? I find your statments as offensive and as childish. If you are not an Atheist, I'm sure you can substitute your appropriate belief in place of the word 'atheist' for the same effect.
This is not the 'Juvenile & Grade School' forum.
