My friend and I hung out 3 days ago. He told me how he worships the devil, and says a prayer that supposidly makes him get in touch with him. I found it kind of interesting, but was having second thoughts about doing it myself. I am a christan, but not a freak about it. I don't brag about the whole life story about god and such, but i do believe in god, and dont feel comfortable doing the whole mythical prayer and stuff. What are your thoughts and be serious.

There is nothing wrong with experimenting with religions. You have an open mind and that is a good thing. If you want to try something new, go for it. You can always change your mind.

dont do it....
first of all, dont get bad influence around you, that's what even your parents and the bible would say, it says "dont mix yourselves with ungodly and immoral beings" (forgot qoute)
look i kno that feeling too, and the thing is that your friend is'nt a nut.. there are things like these in the world, and when you look at it that will never lead to actual happiness in this life or the after life.. the only solution to this problem is through the holy spirit ( simple theory- same god different form) . my best response to this is that you should pray, even though you arent that religious(God has a kingdom not a religion btw). consult someone else, this is not something that you should EVER take lightly, it is a matter of life and death

Stay far, far, FAR away from that stuff unless you want to invite a lot of hell into your life. Seriously very misguided people worship the devil. If you care at all about what your soul will be doing for eternity, turn around and walk away from those people.

Seriously, I do think that there is reason to feel uncomfortable about contacting Satan. I believe in God therefore I believe in Satan and have heard horror stories about people who practiced in the occult. Talking to Satan or even giving him this much attention is like inviting him into your life. Look up information about Ben Alexander. He used to be in the occult and stories from his life terrified me. Its not something someone would want to be caught up in

All Satanism is a reaction to the Christian hypocrisy. There is nothing inherently "evil" about Satanism. They believe that human beings should thrive in their inherit humanism. In other words, live human emotion to it's fullest. What is so evil about that? It's more democratic than anything.
I am not a Satanist, This is just from research that I have done.

If you actually believe that a devil exists to worship, you're probably better off not doing so. Even if he doesn't exist, it is a waste of time. Let your friend do whatever he wants, he'll get bored of his fantasy sooner or later...but don't buy into it either.

don't hang out with him..dude that stuff is bad..i saw an episode of a haunting on the discovery channel about this family who moved into a house that they lyk worshiped satan and a demon haunted them...nothing good comes from that kind of stuff..u are gonna get like a demon after u..I REPEAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE TRYS TO CONVINCE YOU OF HOW "ITS NOTHING" DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM....you don't want to learn the hard way..something creepy might happen if u start praying in front of him to god or toss holy water on him while hes doing whatever he does..

If you don't feel comfortable doing the whole mythical prayer and stuff, don't do it.
BTW, do you do the whole mythical prayer (and stuff) to your god?
