i have not been a great example for Jesus and know that i have turned people away from a great GOD! now that i'm older in Christ, i have a better perspective on how to live accordingly, do you hate Christ because of the way us 'christians' have behaved towards you and would you forgive me and give Jesus a try? God bless you and your answers, even if they're hateful, i'll understand.

As an atheist/agnostic who has read the New Testament Apocrypha (Gospel of Thomas, etc.), it's very, very hard to separate the true Jesus from all the different myths that have grown around him.

If I judge him solely on the four Gospels in the NT, I'm not sure... He taught a very good system of ethics for the time, but he's quick to damn a huge percentage of humans to Hell which seems infinitely cruel. I think I'll take a pass on this question...

Listen, Jesus said that the world hated Him. He said that the world would hate us too. He said that "a servant is not greater than their master". Most of the atheist on this forum are scorners and mockers. The bible says that in the last day this would happen.

DO NOT CAST YOUR PEARLS BEFORE THE SWINE. They will trample your pearls and then trample you.
I try to weed through the questions and find a sincere one. Sometimes I'm fooled.

I Love Jesus because He first Loved me. Amen

Jesus died for our sins that we would have the opportunity to be Saved, Born Again and meet Him in the Air to ever be with Him. Praise God.

I am so grateful for what He has done for me. I find those who say that he didn't exist seem to say so because they get a reason why not to even consider reading what He is supposed to have said. Many of those people would probably hate Him if they knew what He said, but there are a lot of lazy people around.

No, James, I love Jesus. Jesus is bigger than even my sins and my poor example; I know that He is bigger than yours, too. Whatever has been in the past, now your love for Him is the important thing; stay focussed on the good He will begin to do through you.

No one follower should turn any reasonable person away from Christ. It's when you take in a broader picture, and see a larger trend amongst his followers, that you begin to wonder about the validity of his teachings. No one individual is responsible for this, however.

No, I do not hate anyone. It would be irrational to think that atheists would hate something that does not exist for them.

Do not confuse non-belief with hate. Just because someone does not believe your god means that they hate your god.

Should I assume you hate invisible pink unicorns because you do not believe in them?

How can anyone hate, what they do not believe in....Would be my answer.

If some do not think Jesus was real, then there's no reason for them to hate.

I follow the rule, which was written. If they don't follow, then I will not try and lead them.

Moses spent 40 years going around in a circle in the desert. You would think someone would have said....Why don't we turn left this go-round!

Moronic I say.

I don't know what kind of a question this is. But for those of you who obviously don't know your History, He did exist whether you believe in Him or not, and there is Historical proof to the fact. What about Julius Caesar, Napoleon, etc. Are they imaginary and fictional, characters with no Historical backing????? Please, do your homework before you go stating your unfounded opinions.
