I recently had this sorta thing happen to me. A person who learned that I was wiccan was shocked as they believed that we worshiped the devil..but I seemed like SUCH a nice person. I had to fill them in on the fact that I don't believe in heaven or hell and I don't have a christian-based faith, so how could I worship something I didn't believe existed? I then went on to explain what being a wiccan is and what we believe and she was quite fascinated. Was I mad @ her..no of course not, she wasnt saying it to be mean, she was just misinformed as most are.

Will she go to hell for it? I don't believe any "god" would punish someone for lack of knowledge. I believe punishment would be made if knowledge was had and ignored.

Blessed Be

Wiccans do not worship the devil first off, I know you say this is a trick question so not knowing you I will go light.

Those that accuse would more likely go to hell according to their own faith for it preaches thou shall not judge. Only Jesus and God can judge. All they can hope for according again to their own faiths doctrine is to accept Jesus into their lives and repent and they will be forgiven of all and go to heaven, and yes this means people like Hitler too!!

That is their view on it as Christians. I am not a Christian and do not see it that way. Wiccan's are Pagans. a devil worshiper would not be a Pagan!

So what is the trick question? If your an atheist I get it, None of it is real so what is the point correct? If you are not then what is it?

Wiccans CAN'T go to hell for worshiping the devil. The devil is a Christian affectation and Wiccans do not believe in the devil. Only those who believe in the devil can worship the devil.

So, since Wiccans don't believe in the devil how can we possibly go to hell for worshiping what we do not believe in?

Answer is; We cannot since we cannot worship what we don't believe in.

Hope that clarifies things for you.

Since Wiccans don't worship the devil, that wouldn't be an issue. And since Wiccans don't believe in hell, again it's not going to happen. But since the devil is a Christian creation, it is the Christian who will likely be dwelling in hell.

Probably people who accuse them or worshiping the Devil. Wiccans don't believe that an entity called the Devil exists.

Well, 1st, Wiccans don't worship the devil. Now the people who accuse them are usually (not always) Christian. They won't go to hell, because they just ask forgiveness. So do the Wiccans go to hell? No, because they have no belief in hell and the concept of hell is a myth.

Considering that those who accuse Wiccans of worshipping a Devil they do not believe in are bearing False Witness, I would say the second.....

Isn't there something somewhere in that Bible thingy about judging not lest ye be judged? I think there's also a bit about ye without sin casting the first stone. So I'm going to go with the people that condemn us to hell for worshipping a being that doesn't exist.
