thanks to the ppl who have pity on me, alot of u were also helpful. i putim not racist b/c, like ethan displayed, people suddenly come to the false conclusion that Xians hate everyone but themselves b/c we think we're perfect. i wanted to just get a few answers so i could write my history paper with a bible verse in it, i didnt know that so many people would be offended by my question.

You realize that the people who often know the bible better are atheists right?
I can however point out that decadence and poor leadership are really slow ways to destroy a nation. Kind of like saying John Lennon was punished for saying The Beatles were more popular than Jesus even though he died almost twenty years after the quote. Why would your god take so long?

It is not God that destroys nations, it is the nations working with Satan.
The fall of Rome was because of the corruptness of the nation, not because it was large.
http://ancienthistory.about.com/cs/romefallarticles/a/fallofrome.htm is a start if you have not been there.
It was ungodliness that condemned the nations to be overrun.
Good luck.

It's really rude and disrespectful to post questions that anyone could answer but only request that a certain religious group respond. Unless your God is an IDIOT, YOU will have to answer for that at judgement. Good luck! sizzle sizzle

hi! how about Psalms 9;17,' The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God" other than that the whole Old Testament is really about how the nation of Israel got themselves in trouble with God because of their disobedience to the laws of God. God always asks us to choose between life and death, its our choosing that brings us judgement. so lets choose life amen?

Please keep your religion out of my history.
Why is a bible verse pertinent to the fall of Rome, considering when Rome dissolved it was a Christian nation?
