What would you say? Yeah Catholics are weird so what do you think of the last part of this creed?

I would remind you that that is only a statement of belief, not fact. I could tell you that my dog can talk, but that doesn't make it true. I could be lying. I could be crazy. etc.

EDIT: Actually, to be honest, if you just came up to me in public and told me this, I would probably just ignore you.

The doctrine of transubstantiation claims that the physical properties remain those of bread and wine while the underlying 'substance' is that of the body and blood of christ.

I would have to say therefore that you don't know what you are talking about. At the very least your poor choice of the word 'actually' is ambiguous in context of the point you were trying to make.

2000 year old bodies would be dust by now, as would the blood. It would be impossible to present these things anywhere as there would be nothing but dust to present. Claiming this dust is the body and blood of christ would be speculation, and the probability is that it would not be true.

I would say you are lying.

Isn't lying a sin according to your religion?

I'd say it was nothing more than a wafer of really bland, unleavened bread and a gulp of rather weak wine. If you want to pretend it's flesh and blood, that's your fantasy. As a Subgenius, I believe that the Pope is actually a three-headed, purple dragon named Palpatine. To each his own...

If you told me, I would answer that there are zillions of people who believe that, though I do not believe they really believe that.
The last part is a part of a list of doctrines of the RCC.

Have a nice day.

I'd say you were a liar, your priest CANNOT perform magic and turn bread and wine into flesh and blood. Its all claptrap and symbolism. More sleight of hand by the church to make you follow their dogma

Eating the transubstantiated flesh and blood of a 2000 year old Jewish zombie. Hey, whatever gets you through your day.

You can believe what you believe, but then it would be protestant you will need to convince first. Some atheists do not even believe the existence of this Jesus your christ.

I'd say you're an illiterate cannibal.

It's "resurrection," by the way:) But hey, you spelled atheist right, so that's a plus!
