Why are some young women attracted to older men!?

Question

I have a very good girlfriend, who is beautiful, smart, funny, and all around a really nice girl. But why is it that she is always attracted to the older men. There's tons and tons of guys who would die to go out with her, but yet she chooses to go out with older men that are atleast 10 years her senior. What is she thinking? How can I get her to find someone more our age ( since we're only a year apart ) instead of a dirty old man?

don't get me wrong, I like older men too but not like10 years older, that's just too old, besides, she thinks playing scrabble is fun, now come on, don't yu think that's kind of lame?

okay okay, all you "Older" guys out there don't have to beat me up about it, but I'm afraid she will miss out on all the fun if she dates old men, she will become old herself if she keeps doing that, and she doesn't have to, she is such a pretty young thing, don't want to lose one of my best friends to an old man! =P

Women that are attracted to older men are bound with the security that some to most men realize that just treating women with respect is like the same respect that you show everyone else and is a foundation for building things like trust, caring, compassion, support, consideration and all those traits that we strive to perfect during our young lives and with maturation, keep those I just described and hopefully have realized the true value of romance and love. Once again blocks to build successful relationships. The learning behind the acquisition of traits seems to harbor other desired traits like always seeing the glass half full, the positive side of all situations, acceptance for those having no good side but positive outcome. She is thinking that she likes being treated like a person, but more important like a lady. I goes without asking or saying from those of us that society has shunned as older. She maybe has found what she seeks in someone older and more refined with the basics where they belong. Why do you label men like us dirty old men? We are just like anyone else and have put things in their proper perspective even the dirty old things that are still fun but not listed for all to see. Maybe the our age is not a qualifier to your friend and maybe she has insight to age not being a benefit moreso than being a disqualifier. There are no laws or rules of thumb for consenting adults over the age of 18 so personal boundaries should be those of that person not a group of people. Shallow starts where people begin and hopefully past into the really important things that people possess besides lack of maturity or experience which can be seen by deciding that the age group has to be the same for compatibility. Your girlfriend is very smart and has very good values for the things she seeks, knows how to find them and what is behind that kind of maturity. The benefits are not having to be a victim of that person learning what respect, love, admiration, and others when putting them into learned practice. They are already there. She is a step ahead in the relationship already. Plus there is much to learn from others as well as things to learn with others and there is a difference.

My husband is 8 a million/2 years older than me ( i'm 23 in june, and he's 31 in september ) we've been together for a minimum of 5 years... in my opinion speaking, i does no longer pass over 35. it ought to have been the particular style of mentioned women people; no longer a generalization of all youthful women people liking older adult men.

Some women prefer the maturity of an older man. I think you are being judgemental of men by calling them "dirty old men" if a girl wants to date a man who has finished his partying and provides security and respect to a young woman instead of just thinking about whats in her panties, then you should respect her choices.

Older men are mature and responsible. Why are the men dirty just because they are old? They can take care of her like men your age might not be able to. At least, that's probably her reasoning.

Your girl friend does not equate love with age thats why.
In fact, love should not be the basis of anything thing.
It should be the basis of how one feels with another person and at the same time how the other person reciprocate the same feeling.
