it was a mother cat and 2 of her babies. they were laid out the fashion of a cross with a single arrow holding all bodies together. they appeared to have all been killed with a knife or maybe even the arrow.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE. I am not making it up and I was really hoping for more of an answer as to what this would or could possibly mean. Moving is not an option at this time. I have searched the net looking for clues as to what this could mean.

Oh my gawd I hope you are lying about this poor cats :(..Call the police Dont touch anything they might search for fingerprints dont worry it wasnt wiccans if thats what you are thinking that is against the harm none rule maybe A sick person or A Satanist(which I doubt I dont think Satanist do that) anyway be care full and have a wonderfull day :)

In all likelihood, it was kids just trying to mess with your mind. They may have little actual knowledge of the occult. It is certainly not something you should ignore though. Regardless of the knowledge or ignorance, I would consider it an act of intimidation and an implied threat and be on my guard.
You should report it to the police. At the very least, if caught, they could be prosecuted for animal cruelty and criminal trespass. And depending on the laws in your area, they could even be prosecuted for terroristic threats and acts.

I agree about calling the police and I also would keep my doors, windows, car, and garage locked, it wouldn't hurt to go out and purchase an alarm.(If this is a serious post I would call the police ASAP.)

It means you probably have some very sick, angry teenagers living in your community, who are likely to graduate to hurting people if someone doesn't catch them and prosecute them for animal cruelty soon.
