If you read and believe the Bible is the ultimate authority when it comes to pleasing God, what does it have to say about such things?
1 Corinthians 10:21, 22 "YOU cannot be drinking the cup of Jehovah and the cup of demons; YOU cannot be partaking of “the table of Jehovah” and the table of demons. 22 Or “are we inciting Jehovah to jealousy”?"
You cannot be doing both AND be pleasing God. The Ouiji Board is a means of divination (and in some schools of thought, necromancy), which is a means of contacting spirits. It may look like a toy but it is anything but.

It is a personal choice. Plenty of people read the Bible and do those other things. I think if you BELIEVE the Bible and you read the part where it said not to do such things (both OT and NT), then you wouldn't play with Ouija or any other mystical "game". But we all have free will.

The Ouija board, like other forms of divination, has been used in an attempt to contact the dead (necromancy), which is clearly condemned by the Bible:
"Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so" (Deut. 18:10-14).
All other forms of sorcery are clearly denounced in Scripture as well. Those that refuse to listen to God regarding this command are mentioned in the follow Scripture:
'But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death" (Rev. 21:8).
It should be avoided at all cost.

I try to put the little faith I may have in the Bible and other Christian reading. Anyway, I wouldn't even know about Ouija Boards were it not for the fundies' warnings. Nobody gives a darn about Ouija, actually.

the ouija board translated is a yes yes board. It is used by demons to communicate through and with humans. If you start using one and continue using one, you are in danger.
What does light have to do with darkness?

I don't think the Bible is a big deal (from a personal standpoint) but I don't participate in this Ouija Game of which you speak.

An ouija game is so dumb.
When I was a kid my cousins and I asked it how old I was and it didn't even know. And my hand was one of the ones shoving the little thingy.

An invitation to disaster.
Deuteronomy 18:10 -- There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

The word Divination, shows that spirit communication comes from the Divine.
But as you said, Ouija makes it look like a game.
And it is no game. There are willful wicked spirits, as well as Lost Souls. That are not aware they no longer reside in our dimension. And they are
lonely and frustrated. And will act like a friend, until they worm their way into a telepathic link with someone, and drive them to kill someone or themselves. They think it will bring another spirit to them for company.
These Lost Souls don't need banishing to Hell. But Love and our prayers.

Jesus said that we cannot serve two masters...a house divided cannot stand. If you want to serve the Light, you should not associate with Darkness. Would you go to Church to watch a pornographic movie?
