No hairbands around and rubber bands are kept where kitty can't get them. They could be ingested and cause all kinds of problems. So can those plastic tabs that come on bread. I read where a cat had one stuck to the roof of it's mouth and had to have surgery to remove it. I replace those as soon as I buy fresh bread and get that thing in the trash.

Yes! Even though I made them a bunch of bows, they still search out the occasional hairband or scrunchy and haul it around. And a rubber band? History! They consider it their sworn mission in life to destroy all rubber bands.
You can't help but laugh. I try to keep all rubber bands away from them though, because I don't want them to get a piece of it caught in their throat.

Yes, mine loves rubber bands, and the rings from plastic jugs, too. She doesn't try to eat them, but she'll grab them, do her low-pitched "I caught something, Mommy" meow, bat them around, and then drop them somewhere. Your cat probably sees them as some sort of prey, and they'll kill their prey, play with it a bit to be sure it's dead and also let their people know they "killed" something.
And she also likes the "flashlight game," even when played with a laser pointer.

As ???? says, Siamese continually have plenty to assert approximately something and that they are loud - it relatively is wide-spread. I agree, do no longer enable her have rubber bands and so forth, she would desire to be in severe difficulty if she swallows one. attempt screwing up balls of paper, she will chase, pounce on and bite that without situation.

Yep, we keep ours in a lidded box so they can't eat them. They can cause intestinal blockage.
For some reason my male likes to eat fabric softener sheets as well....
