How did people in Israel entertain themselves? I know that they danced and they told stories, but how else?

first century jews would not have attended plays for the same reasons as twelfth century muslims did not.
sometimes the levels of ignorance on this site take my breath away.

Can you imagine it?
No electricity, no washing machine, no sewing machine,
no stove, no fridge, no running water.
They sang, played music, danced, shared meals,
drank coffee, told stories, shared experiences,
had simple toys and games for children.
When they weren't sewing, weaving, potting,
milking goats, cooking, washing, cleaning, etc.
