When I was 16 I drank a bottle of Mountain Dew Code Red and about an hour later I had the most severe cramps that made me curl into the fetus position and vomit everywhere. It hurt so bad that I blacked out and so now I avoid the stuff. During that time of my life, I used to drink caffinated beverages frequently, such as coffee and teas and coke or pepsi but someone told me I should just cut caffiene out of my diet because I obviously had a bad reaction to it. I've spent the past five years caffeine free, except for the ocasional Hersheys Bar of chocolate and Rose Tea. Well, now I sometimes wish I could drink the beverages I used to enjoy and I find myself feeling tempted at every soda machine. I'm scared that since I havent had any in years that it will make my heart explode or something? Can you switch back to caffiene after you havent had it in your life for so long? Would it be safer just to forget caffiene? I would like to have Mountain Dew again but not if its going to kill me.
