Of Couse not. The fur will definitely be fine. They are aquatic and also can survive in the most rugged conditions.
As a trapper, I have found that beaver can with-stand many things, such as snow, ice, "water," and more. I've found my beavers frozen solid and the fur is still good.
You will have a heck of a time skinning it though, if you aren't an experienced skinner, don't get to frusterated by putting holes in the pelt, life goes on and for every hole put in a pelt, thats one less in the next one you do!

hi there
yes the fur will be fine , as the beaver was probably wet when you shot it and it lives its life in the water, a little rain won't hurt it, now your next problem is a little trick a wounded beaver plays on its killer, they will dive down and grab onto somthing on the bottem then roll up tight in it when they drown or die from the wound they stay stuck to the bottem ,good luck finding it.

You should be o.k. As everyone said they are an aquatic animal & the fur will be fine, but skinning will be a little bit more dificulte.
