Nope your smelling the dogs sweat mixed with the oils From the dog. Some dogs feet smell like that some do not, most people think it smells like Frito's or pop corn!
Dogs have sweat glands in their feet no where else!
So your not weird at all!

LOL! I thought that I was the only one who had dogs who smelt like corn chips! From what I understand its a sweet thing! I feel better that I'm not the only one! LOL!

No, all dogs' paws smell like corn chips / buttered popcorn. Just one of their many endearing qualities.

My daughter has said in the past that our dog's feet smell like Dorito's. She was laying by him and could smell his feet from where she was laying...I don't think that she acutually sniffed his paws though

I work for a vet and we've said for years that lots of dog feet smell like Frito's! :)
p.s. People who smell dog feet are not weird. Well, not much. :)

that's funny, there is a book called "dog parenting" (really good book by the way) that says the exact same thing. so there are other people out there that think the same thing! all this people who think you are weird, well...who cares what they think. if you love and cuddle your dog you are bound to catch a whiff of their corn chip paws;)

Nope, my dogs feet smell like that sometimes too:)
My little girl likes to snuggle with me at night but with her feet right under my nose....I wake up to that smell quite often, lol.
