Considering the fact that ranchers kill millions of cows, why should Michael Vick go to prison? Are you saying gods are worth more than cows? Aren't cows bigger than gods?

In other cultures, aren't cows the most sacred?

Why arn't ranchers or abortion doctors in prison, too?

you really don't understand what you are saying. ranchers that "kill millions of cows" don't exist. they may sell the cows to the slaughterhouse, but this is for the benefit and if you have ever seen a feed lot, they aren't as bad as people say. the cows aren't confined to boxes with thousands of other cows to the point they can't move, there is plenty of room to move and they seem to enjoy it (cows aren't sacred in our society so that doesn't really matter and may i ask HOW cows are "bigger" than GODS?).

also, training dogs to fight and killing them if they disappoint you is torture. plus, it is a threat to the public and other animals to have dangerous dogs around. the fighting dogs are a risk to anything they come in contact with.

He deserves everything he gets and then some. And you hit the nail on the head when you said "In other cultures, aren't cows the most sacred"? IN OTHER CULTURES, not in MOST CULTURES and certainly not here.

Note:
Another Level 1 with negative points asking a provoking question with no purpose but to get people angry. And thanks for your other "thought provoking" questions, some of which I have listed below;
1/ What's worse. What Michael Vick did, or a woman who has two abortions?
2/ Should a woman be allowed to have 60 abortions in order to break a world record?
3/ Why are gamers fat, geeky and often times in need of Proactive?
4/ Is Hilary Clinton a man or a woman?
5/ If abortion is legal, why isn't global warming?
6/ Why do people have abortions?
7/ Should there be a law restricting abortion?
8/ If men were the ones who carried a fetus, would there be as many abortions today?
9/ Should liberals organize a parade to celebrate the 100 millionth aborted fetus?

You obviously have issues and feel strongly about them, but PLEASE ASK YOUR QUESTIONS IN THE APPROPRIATE CATEGORY.

God is pretty big, and probably worth alot too.

Personally, Im tired of hearing about this lowlife Vick guy. He's a no brains waste of space that doesn't know how to do anything but throw a football around and abuse dogs. He deserves more than what he got. Hopefully "Bubba" will teach him a few things in the pen.

I think you mean dogs instead of gods? Right? And this is because in America we eat and live off of cows, not dogs. So when someone kills a dog on purpose, it's considered bad.

In other cultures don't people kill and eat dogs? They don't get arrested for killing those dogs, but maybe they do for killing a cow? [I don't think so, but it's a point]
This is our culture, not someone elses, so we do what we believe is right. It wouldn't be fair fr us to live by other peoples cultures wen we have our own, would it?

Well for one thing, most farmers and ranchers kill cattle in humane ways. They are either shot in the head or euthanized. Both quick and painless. These dogs that Vick killed were tourtured; beaten to death, drowned, burnt, and probabally many other horable ways. Not to mention what they go through during the fightin. Anyone who can do this to an innocent animal that just wants to be loved and please its owner is sick in the head and needs some serious psych evaluations or to rott in hell.

Because he engaged in something that is ILLEGAL. Killing cows for food is not illegal. He condoned and participated in dog fighting, an illegal activity, and he should pay the consequences. He'll have a long time to think about what he did and hopefully come out a better person - maybe even a dog lover! But I doubt it.

Because he caused Great Harm to the animals that he chose to be used in fighting! How dare he do such a thing? He must know that there are young people out there that look up to him,yet he mistreats these animals? What a horrible role model he is! I hope he learns a lesson from all this but I doubt it! Someone should throw him in the middle of a pack of fighting dogs! Squeak

Dog fighting is a violent act. People who engage in dog fighting (either by watching it, or setting up) are involved with a very violent act involving innocent animals. It requires a certain amount of violent nature to engage in dog fighting. This sometimes (probably frequently) develops into violence against people. If you are willing to hurt a innocent animal in this very violent and cruel way then you are more likely to commit violence against someone else. The violence with the dogs desensitizes a person towards all kinds of violence.

Because they kill them for necessary food for people to eat while michael vick tortured innocent animals designated as pets!!! Not to mention animal abuse is against the law. I cant believe anyone would say that!

Your question is nonsense. Cows are killed for food, dairy. Those dogs were raised solely to fight and kill other dogs for money. Creating a killer dog that eventually can kill innocent dogs/humans. Hmmm....maybe one of his fighting dogs should stay at YOUR house for a while.
