should we end all our answers with
"our dark Vatican masters command it"?

because i'm told that we apparently are ordered around by them, so we might as well acknowledge it...

other suggestions:
"my worship statue would agree"
"my conjuring of spirits something or other"
"Mary!"
"crucifix!"
"something in Latin!"

or perhaps

"my pagan religion that somehow stole from other religions that were long gone by this time, mixed with other religions that were long gone, transposed over the religion we claim to follow, would agree with me"

any other suggestions would be great. comments?

Matt m- is that directed toward me or is that an actual suggestion?
if it's toward me you're waaay of considering i'm mocking anti-catholics and you seem to be a catholic

if it's a suggestion, it's a little too harsh.

LOL!
Thank you for lightening the day!
The gloomy paranoid Anti Catholic rants tend to become tiresome especially when they never answer our facts and never seem to look up the history or Bible texts we offer in answer to their attacks.
Salve et vale,amice!
Maranatha!
Veni,Domine Jesu, Rex et Caput Eterne Ecclesiae !

Your "something in Latin!" suggests one possible answer, and there is a brief story behind it. . .

A few friends and I were once accused of being "boot-licking Vatican toadies"

We went nuts.

We whooped.

We high-fived. We said, "way cool!"

We loved it. Still do.

Some of us translated the name into Latin the best we knew how, and came up with "Bufillus caligae vaticanensis delingeriscus." (boot-licking Vatican toady)

We still get a chuckle over that from time to time.

My only other suggestion or answer would be simply that I try my best to stay at cruising altitude where the air is fine and clear and I can keep my eyes on the Lord. I don't know about you, but I've had enough of my fuselage and wings getting battered about what with all the debris flying around down at ground level. From now on, it's CR-ALT all the way for me!

As you know, I'm an atheist. However, as an ex-Catholic I can appreciate the humor here. I like "our dark Vatican masters command it," and "my worship statue would agree." Very funny.

How about "Mary is our Supreme Goddess."

I've never understood why people think Catholics worship Mary.

Should we also tell them about the secret oaths we have? Or brag about our citizenship rights to Vatican City? LMAO. I bet many people are going to actually believe this is true.

I find it even funnier how many people lost the point of your humor entirely! Heee-larious!

Oh... and any one of those phrases would work. Although given the negativity of some of your answers already, the humor in responding to questions with them might still be lost on the witless.

I like it. What is the Latin for "our dark Vatican masters command it"?

How about we end it with "Thank God for giving me the good sense to not be a fundamentalist, Lord Have Mercy on their misguided uneducated souls"

Oh, I got one...

"Thou shalt not question what I am not allowed to question"

(very funny post and as a Catholic totally get where you are coming from!)
