I have been smoking for a while and now my mom found my cigarettes and i dont know a good excuse to tell her why i have been smoking. I just told her that i have been having bad stress and crap, but i need a better excuse. I have been just acting like im misreable so i need a good heartbreaking excuse.

Unless your mom smokes, then she already knew you smoked and was searching for the source. Smokers smell like stale smoke. Just quit. I was shocked when I quit (ten plus years ago) how other smokers smell. By the way, how can you afford it?

Please, just quit. NOW. Before it is too late. Nobody really thinks smoking is cool. Especially when they can buy cigarettes without worrying if their mom will catch them. Just think of this as a gift from God to encourage you to give it up. If you want to rebel, don't be a doctor like your parents always wanted or something like that. But smoking is bad news. In the end, it will cost you thousands of dollars that you could spend on something else, make your clothes smell like nicotine all the time, yellow your teeth, and give you medical bills and health problems. It's just not worth it. And every adult who smokes will tell you they wish they'd never started and they are unable to or had a horrible time quitting.

There is no good excuse for explaining that you started smoking. Besides excuses like what you're looking for are lies anyway.

Own up to it.
I doubt there is going to be any way you can lie yourself out of this one (believe me, I tried that with my mom when I was your age...it didn't work).
My mom never wanted me to smoke and she tried really hard to get me to quit. I recently quit after 25 years. My mom was so happy.
Quit now, while you still can. Don't end up like me.

I'm not going to say a darn thing about health risks. If you're old enough to write a question, you're old enough to read the warning labels on your own.
