My calico's almost 9 and she meows non-stop. She used to be so quiet! Anyone else's cat like to talk?

My Mincho is 12 years old and in the last six months he has become SO conversational. He doesn't meow (though he whines somethings), he really holds little chirpy conversations with me.

Haha, yes! When I first adopted my cat, no one at the rescue had even heard her purr, more or less, meow. I've had her for a year, and it's almost impossible to get her to be quiet.

My 11 year-old cat has become more snuggly lately. For some reason she always wants to sleep in the bed with us. She used to not want anything to do with us.

My cat Rusty has also gotten more talkative as time has passed. He has always been the most vocal of my three furbabies, but lately he is always talking.

If your cat was not this chatty until recently, take her to the vet! She's probably trying to tell you that something is wrong! Better to be sure. At her age, she really NEEDS a checkup, anyway. So many illnesses start at about this age...Good luck.......
