It's so cold out, and instead of working out I just want to cuddle up where it's warm!! Does winter time do that to you too?

Yes in the summer and fall I ran cross country(atleast 3 miles everyday) and now that it's winter time I haven't ran in weeks. It's cold and darker in the winter time so I guess It's natural for me to feel like cuddling up next to the fireplace all day.

I think in the winter it's especially hard for me to get up in the morning because it's still dark outside when I wake up. In the summer, no matter what time, if it's light outside, I can get up easily. I also think the fact that it's cold is a factor of it. When I get cold, I'm freezing, so all I want to do is curl up under a blanket and take a nap.

You might have Seasonal Affective Disorder, a form of depression. If you are feeling really down (depression can be manifested more as tiredness than sadness, crying, etc in many cases) you should call a doctor.

If it isn't that bad, try to keep exercising, perhaps indoor if outside is too cold, or wear warmer clothes if you do exercise outside. It should help you feel better. Also, get more exposure to light, especially sunlight, and see if that helps your mood.

It's common, but not normal or healthy to feel the way you do in the winter, and can get worse if not treated, but can be made better with exercise, more light, and if needed medical treatment.

Yes. During winter it is commonly darker because the days are shorter and there is less sunshine. Keeping what ever room you are in well lit can help with it.

Yes, it's quite normal: You want to stay where it's warm, and there is less light to keep you awake.

And I confess, I tend to be reluctant to get out of my nice warm nest too!
