Some of you are asking why!
God's Holy Sabbath
Is there one particular day on which Christian's should worship? If so, is that day Sunday? Did you know that leading authorities in both the Catholic and major Protestant denominations have had to admit that the practice of observing Sunday is without biblical support?

Don't say I am not a Jew and it's only for them, it's the same book and the same God.

For those who still say sabato is ok!
Bear in mind that the LORD has given you the Sabbath; that is why on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Everyone is to stay where he is on the seventh day; no one is to go out."

De 5:14
But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy ox, nor thy ***, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates; that thy man-servant and thy maid-servant may rest as well as thou.

God rested on the seventh day. This has probably been misunderstood. What it means is that He did what He set out to do and put an end to it. In other words, let well enough alone. If you have completed whatever it is that you had to do during the week, you deserve to put up your legs.
Secondly, should we be like God? Should we have the temerity even to try?
Thirdly, if He rested on the seventh day, did he then start work again onthe eighth day? In fact, I don't see how He can take any day off: minding us is 24 hr. job!

I do all of the above. I spend time with my family.
I know that Seventh Day Adventists keep their Saturdays as their Sabbath Day.
However, I attend Church on Sundays.
-God Bless.
Colossians 2:16
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

When one prefaces a question like you did, in actuality, it is hardly that simple or randomly curious, so don't kid a kidder.
I do not go shopping of other things on Sunday, because that is the Sabbath day that Christians observe. I know that 7th Day Adventists and those of the Jewish faith observe Saturday, but the vast majority of Christians observe Sunday as Sabbath.
I will not try to change this as I will not get hung up on the letter of the law, as the Pharisees did but, rather, the spirit of the law, as Jesus intended and taught.

Saturday is the Jewish Sabbath.
1. I am not jew i am a gentile
2. I am not under the old levital laws of the Jews( as a matter of fact they are not under those laws either)
3. I am under the umbrella of grace that God provided for me through the gift of his precious Son.
4. We do not worship the end of the week, we worship on the beginning of the week SUNDAY. because Jesus Christ has given us a new way and a new beginning.

I go to church, I sometimes cook, and I hangout with my fam, I don't go shopping, I don't go out to eat, I don't work for pay on Sundays (I never work for pay - SAHM) etc.
I do the best I can to keep the day a holy day but you know, I have to eat and therefore I have to cook. I follow the spirit of the law and not the letter of the law.
whoops... I didn't see the saturday part. I do all of this on Sunday.

We are no longer under law after the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
We're free to shop and work whenever we choose. But we still have to congregation together for worship in harmony with Heb. 10:24, 25 "And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, 25 not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as YOU behold the day drawing near."

Even though it is technically the Sabbath, as a person who works 60-70 hours a week, I need a day to get personal stuff done.

I teach school. There is no school on Saturday, so I do not got to work.
I shop. I live alone, so I hardly cook on any day.
I walk 5-6 miles. If it's warm, swim.
I pray as I walk and/or swim. I read, I watch TV or movies, I see friends, and I take a nap.
I think I see where this is going.

I'm 14 and a high school freshman and my whole family is christian. My parents both work, we go shopping as a family a few times a month and I go to the mall with my friends like every weekend. My mom likes to cook. And, duh why wouldn't we do activities on Saturday? We do them on Sunday too. (After, we go to church in the morning.) It's not like christians don't have a life or something, we're like non-christians, except for we believe in God and that he created everything and we live our lives to follow him.

Dear not-so-sly fox.
There are at least two sects of christians that keep the sabbath (7th day adventists and 7th day baptists) - so your flamebait question has just gone down in flames.
Merry Christmas!!!
