Do you pray with your hands pointed up, cupped together? With your fingers laced between each other? With your arms crossed?
Do you pray silently, or do you speak outloud?
Do you bow your head?
Do you close your eyes?
Did Jesus, or the early apostles ever discuss the proper way to pray?

He was saying that the Jews who are all like "I'm praying! I'm praying!!!!" were bad...
But that's not what I meant, I mean like the proper order, position, etc.

You pray positioned as you are, where you are and clothed like you are. Since God sees you where you are, why pretend He doesn't.
The position is not important. It is the heart that is important.
The Bible speaks of lying flat, face down on the ground to standing and lifting hands in toward the heavens. There is no proper position for prayer. Prayers should not be repeated as though God cannot hear but talk with God like you talk to your best friend. Tell him all, not just the "big" stuff.

You can pray however you feel comfortable. You can pray with eyes wide open or shut. You can pray outloud or silently. The Lord's Prayer is our template to pray by. Be sure to thank God for your blessings and not just pray for what you want.

Usually when I am laying in bed with my eyes closed, silently.
The way that I like to is to put my elbows on the table in front of me, lace my fingers up in front of my face then lean my forehead on my thumbs and sort of look down. Eyes closed.
I pray outloud when someone is expecting me to, like at a meal.

There really isn't a way to pray. You can speak out loud or speak silently to yourself. You also can close your eyes. You don't have to bow your head. Just as long as your praying.

I can be done a variety of ways. I can be silent meditation or speaking out loud.
You can sit quietly as you mediate on God's word.
The idea here is to spend time praying individually and with your fellow brothers/sisters in the Lord.

I pray on my knees sometimes, sometimes standing, sometimes laying down, sometimes sitting.
But the first poster just reminded me I need to not look up when I pray, as I sometimes do.
Sometimes my eyes are closed, sometimes not.
Sometimes I whisper, sometimes I'm silent. I mainly only speak aloud when I'm in the auto.

I don't think there is a proper way. It is up to the individual. I usually pray with my hand apart and palms upwards and with my eyes closed.

I call prayer "thinking out loud" or just meditating to self
I do not pray to a deity or a god / savior
when I did do that in the past, I or a nearby person ended up hearing and performing the blessing or miracle
I see now that I am the miracle maker, the person to rescue the needy and be the Good Samaritan, or seize the day and just "do it"
