If there was any sort of eternal life, I'd want to be in a place that had a lot of pleasure--sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll seem to be a lot more fun then some ethereal, purely intellectual sort of pleasure. The Heaven of Christianity, with it's sexless angels, harp music, and philosophical contemplation, seems very dull--I'd much more prefer a Paradise of real hedonistic fun m'self...

One day we all will achieve this gift ,but right now it is only the Masters of Wisdom who are as yet immortal. Some of the Masters are several thousands of years old and have been over seeing our evolutionary development from behind the scenes for untold eons. The Christ ,Maitreya is countless thousands of years old and is now beginning to emerge from his ancient retreat and to once again walk intimately with humanity and who will have a hand at the construction of a new world religion ,or should I say a one world spirituality where the principle of love and brotherhood will be the sole foundation .These my Friends are not dreams ,but are a living reality and we all have our part to play in the making of a better world for all to live and thrive in.The goal is to spiritualize the matter of our bodies so that we need not pass through any kind of death but to construct a body of light so that we may enter the heaven state without the fear of death and to conquer over old age and retain a young body for as long as one wishes ,or until ones work here on earth is completed.

I prefer heaven on earth.
Revelation 21
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

We should be able to let go of the rock we've been hewn from. We were put on this earth to prepare for community with God, which is a greater pleasure than being served or endulging in material things that don't satisfy the soul.

Can they afford typing lessons in Heaven? I'll stick to Earth and dream of a better world, if not.
