1) mariti (noun) = "of the husband" (genative singular) and "The husbands" (nominative plural).

2) tristes (adj) = "sad" (nominative plural, masc & fem).

3) illi (Demonstrative pronoun) = "those" ( Nominative plural of ille, "that").

4) senes (noun) = "The old men" (nominative plural) and "up to / near the old men" ( accusative plural).
