Shouldn't we love Satan because God told us to love our neighbors? Satan is as good as our neighbor as is God, Jesus or anyone else, right?

"That term only applies for people, Satan being an angel and former divine being does not count as Satan is not human."
So does that mean I can hate God and other angels without it being a sin?

That is a good question. I have often wondered about that to. It specifically says in the bible, that you should even love your enemy.
Well, Satan is gods enemy. He is my enemy to, so I don't know. Any preachers out there want to help here?
That is One big sin I commit daily, I don't really love my enemies. I often feel hatred for them. Sorry god! Forgive me there.

No. Satan is a fallen angel and is pure evil. His end has already been determined, which will be the lake of fire.
The love we are to have is for people in this world. Satan is not a human being.

Um, no, We are not supposed to love Satan. He is the Prince of this World, and we are not of this world. Our neighbors would be considered our fellow human beings.

Jesus warned us against satan, he is a liar, a murderer, and he hates us, he is our worst enemy, and yes we are to love everyone, but you do not have to love satan and God does not want you to. Just love yourself and your neighbor.

Well, I don't believe Satan is an actual being, but a personification of choices that bring us further away from our true selves (our true selves: Beings of love, compassion, and generosity). In that case, I would love people, but not their choices.

I don't believe he literally exists, but if I were to discover that he did, I would certainly attempt to show him what love I could, though I wouldn't trust a thing he said.

I love Satan with all my heart, as He gave his only begotten Son to us, so that we can forever eat his flesh and bathe in His blood in order to cleanse our sins and get into Heaven as a big "screw you" to God.
That's the story, and I'm sticking to it...Jesus, son of Satan, born out of Mary's nighttime encounter with an incubus..

Wow. You know what I never thought of this aspect before and if that is the case then yes he should be loved just like everyone else.
So if you do not love him then i'm readily assuming it's a sin.
