Me might be playing with his food. You know how kids do..........a dog is kind of like a kid that you can put out side when he is bad.

its not that he doesn't like his dinner, it means he loves it and wants to save it for later - he's hiding it! By tipping his bowl over onto his dinner he's hiding it from you and other animals because thats what he'd do in the wild and you'll find that if you leave it there instead of clearing it up, he'll come back to it and eat it! Ain't they lovely ha ha? My dogs do it with their biscuits which is really annoying if you're off out somewhere nice, all togged up, and you're actually sitting on a soggy bonio that was buried under a cushion!!! Just be thankful your dog's not doing that with his dinner ha ha.

My dog does it too. Either that or she will put her paw in the bowl to flick out pieces of food. Then she throws individual pieces around for awhile before she finally eats it. She just like to play, and it's pretty amusing to watch. She "fights" with her treats too sometimes.

Some dogs like to eat their food off the floor. Mine does. But if he's not eating it he may not like it. Try slowly switching to something else, so he doesn't get diarrhea. Purina is what my guys like.

he might be trying to bury it. Is there any reason for him to hide it? Do you pick it up right away? He might just want to save it for later.
