I feel I have had severe mental problems for some time now and desperately want help but I refuse to use drugs for any reason (sociably or medically) unless it is something minor like an asprin for headaches.
I want to deal with these issues legitimately without having to take medication that shuts off parts of my brain and alters chemicals in my head.
I want to make sure 100% that before asking for help I'm not going to be tricked into doing something I don't approve of. I'm passonite on this.
I want to deal with these problems by discussing the way I feel with professionals and getting to the root of the problem NOT by having some nurse force-feed me meds that are just going to cover up the problem.
So my question is...if I voluntarily commit myself to a mental health hospital will I the right to deny medication?
