Is the movie Zeitgeist (www.zeitgeistmovie.com) correct? Is there any citing of it's sources? It seems to all be true, but the 9/11 theories are a bit sketchy.

There sources are on their website. It seems to be factually true, although some of their conclusions are a bit of a stretch. The main point it that Christianity really was nothing new and if it hadn't been for Emperor Constantine's stupid dream it would have died.

The 9-11 stuff is crap. I realize what it would take to do something like that and it isn't possible. I am sure there were some weird sounds in the buildings, but wiring buildings for a demolition takes months when they are empty. There is no way it could happen in an active office.

The bits I have seen are glitzy, fast paced and make a lot of claims that seem to hold together but does not provide anything of real substance to back them up.

Maybe the claims about Christ, the zodiac and astronomy are correct, maybe they are coincidences, maybe they are half truths that fall apart when you actually look at the data.

I get real suspicious when someone says that all these deities have a specific birth date.

The part I saw on 9/11 looked like the typical conspiracy-theory rubbish. All the 'expert' voice overs were unattributed and could have been friends of the movie maker for all we know. Eye witnesses are not reliable and are not explosives or demolition experts.

There are plenty of 9/11 conspiracy sites. There are quite a few sites that take the conspiracy claims and clearly refute them using science and experts in the relevant fields. I have not seen an effective response to these sites, the main one being that they are just part of the conspiracy.

Maybe there is a huge 911 conspiracy out there, but it would have to be huge and convoluted. There would be easier ways to persuade the public that blowing up your own country. Something that did not require hundreds to thousands of people from not having a change of heart and spilling the beans on the conspiracy. The much more believable thing is that some religious fanatics made a serious attempt to do as much damage and cause as much fear as possible.

"Loose change" did a better job representing the 9/11 theories given here. Zeitgeist also did it in an inocuous way, but the information was too condensed, and seemed to be weakened due to its contrast to the Jesus thang and the New World Bank Order thang...it is just too easy to be skeptical of Zeitgeist that it can be written off on one angle, and the entire piece becomes laughable...

Go to YouTube. Go to this person's videos. Watch the 9/11 series.

Very interesting...

The part in the movie about the Federal Reserve is pretty accurate from what I can tell.

The part about religion... well, they are not the only one's to have said these things. I do think they may have sensationalized a bit, though. :)
