Just because an isolated event occured there, and hundreds (if not thousands) of great things happened there...why should it, along with the hundreds of other similar places shut down?
I didn't get to go on a mission trip with my old church to Romania, doesn't mean I decided to go shoot up my church...
The voices = psychological issues, and were not caused because he couldn't go on a mission trip.
Children can make up their mind early in life. People used to get married at 13 and 14 years old...they were seen as adults at 10 or so...
I think young children today are just as capable of making those decisions and actions as they were a few hundred years ago.
We learned about this in psychology, it's called the social clock. We've changed the age of what we think is appropriate for most things than what they were a few hundred years ago. Personally, I am still not convinced that living a few hundred years ago was any worse than living in todays world.

I do not know enough about this to voice an opinion about the young man. However I can tell you that being a Youth Leader myself I would have to ask. Are you sure the young man was a Christian? Sounds like he was only anger because he could not go on a trip. His eyes were on himself and not the Lord. Wrong reason for the trip. The trip should have been to spead the Gospel of Jesus. Yes the Youth can enjoy themeselves but to many times today too many Churches try to make Church a playground instead of a place where Jesus is taught and Worshiped. As for your question about them being too young, the answer is NO. Children should be taught from the beginning, who Jesus is, and who satan is, and what Jesus can do for them, and what satan can do to them. I have had Children as young as 3 to give their hearts and lives to Jesus and all ages in between, and they are still Christians working for the Lord today. Some of them are Preaching and Teaching the Gospel. Some or singing in Choirs and spreading the Gospel in other ways. Believe me satan does not wait for them to get (Old Enough), he starts working on them as soon as we take our eyes off Jesus and let him near them.

Should they close down all high schools because some high school kids in the past have had school shoot-outs and blamed the popular kids for their depression? Should they ban all cars because some people see fit to drink and run down pedestrians or kill some woman driving a car with her kids?
Do ALL kids in religious youth programs display this kind of behavior, or might it be that this kid was a psycho all on his own?

He couldn't go, because he was a nut and people around him noticed that he wasn't right in the head.
No, they shouldn't stop youth programs. Youth are doing amazing things in the name of Christ all over the world. They are strong, brilliant, committed, and creative.
Instead of stopping youth groups, how about starting to be more proactive and committed to mental health evaluations and services for those like this nut who really needed to get help but didn't?

the international is twisted up because of the fact of Atheists and fake faith.1John 5:19 says that the entire international is mendacity interior the flexibility of the depraved one. In a undeniable experience eighty % of the inhabitants of the earth is interior the flexibility of devil and a small 20% % or maybe much less belong to Jehovah. yet no longer for long the devil and his people have in user-friendly terms a short quantity of time left, to do what they're doing Revelation 12:12. i understand, yet you do no longer understand that there is a non secular conflict occurring popular, and that's intensifying, between devil( together together with his demons and individuals that are in non secular darkness) and Jehovah, (Jesus, and the Angels and real Christians). And popular,My real Christian companions and that i, worldwide, pass door to door preaching the best information of the dominion of God. We should ban children from religion until they are adults capable of making up their own mind but there are better reasons to do it then a schizophrenic kid going postal.

85% of the theists in this country are Christian. There are bound to be some whack jobs. This does not make all Christians paranoid schizophrenics with a violent streak.
