Both are Christian churches as recognized by all other Christian churches as Christian churches, and so agree on most things.
Their history is different.
Pentecostalism developed out of Methodist camp meetings in the United States in the Nineteenth century. They emphasize the gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially speaking in tongues and praying for the sick, which you can also find among Catholics.
Pentecostals are Protestant, have no priesthood but ministers on the Methodist model, and respect but do not revere Mary and other historic Christians.
While Catholic churches are empty and closing everywhere, Pentecostals are expanding and increasing in numbers even in Muslim countries where other religions are banned.

A Pentecostal is someone who seeks to be filled with the Holy Spirit, in emulation of the Apostles at Pentecost.
By this definition, Catholics are Pentecostal Christians.
Feel free to look the word up.
Some groups like to redefine words like Christian and Pentecostal into much narrower terms and claim that Catholics are neither Christian nor Pentecostal.
With love in Christ.

WOW. You style of bit off slightly better than you needed to with that one. Why not start up with something elementary like the version between Shia and Sunni Muslims! LOL Catholics deserted using Scriptures as their religious compass hundreds of years in the past. that's the actual project. They count heavily on church custom and guy-made teachings quite than the Bible. to that end, issues like Mary worship, Purgatory, Transubstantiation arose. Protestant Christians left the Catholic church in the process the Reformation and went decrease back to using basically the Scriptures through fact the only compass with the help of which the church is led. notwithstanding, many denominations have splintered off because then whose changes are too many to pass into factor. those denominations contain: Baptists Methodists Presbyterian Lutheran Angilican/Espicopal Penecostal/Charismatic Church of God Church of Christ, etc.

I don't know much about any other church but mine Catholic I prefer to deeply know mine then to ignore anything of it therefore I love it because I can understand it a lot better then those that criticize it without knowing it and yes we have sins and sinners who doesn't? but the doctrine is purely out of the holy spirit and if you want proof just call upon the holy spirit with a humble heart and you'll believe what I know and believe but most of all you will know what Love is indeed!!!!

They believe in speaking in tongues as in the days when we did not have a complete Bible. Which is no longer necessary. Though there are some catholic churchs that still do, but very few.
They read from the King James Bible and a few others. They allow women to preach to men.

The Pentecost Church does not have a valid ministerial priesthood, nor any valid Sacraments, with the exception of perhaps Baptism and Matrimony.

Numerous differences, including not so many rites and rituals in the Pentecostal church. Jesus is the only way to salvation according to the bible and Pentecostals.

Not many - both adhere to strict moral codes which has been reduced to extreme legalism in many cases. I actually think there are more similarities than differences.
Of course, either one would beg to differ...
