Has Dipentum been discontinued? I have been prescribed it and the pharmacy says it is no longer available.?

I can't find any reference to it's discontinuation....might be that your pharmacy can't get it for one reason or another. You might try calling other pharmacies, the generic name for it is Olsalazine.

Check the Pfizer website (that's the manufacturer) and see if there are any notices on there. You can also check the Food and Drug Administration website to see if it was recalled and why.

You should call another pharmacy, too and see if they have it.
