I was searching for enlarged spleen (im a hypochondria) and the next day I feel discomfort (not pain) near my left rib for the past 4-5 days. I tend to poke at it quite a few times a day.

Not sure why you would be searching for an enlarged spleen. If the spleen enlarges, you will know about it before you have time to search for it. However, chances are you were feeling discomfort in your lower ribs and panicked, OMG Spleen, when in fact it is probably just inflammation of the ribs. Good Luck

you've probably irritated it or your symptoms are psychosymatic.
