I personaly can understand what an atheist is because I have been an atheist... but also I have always understood atheism because it's the logical choice. But I would also like to point out that it's the logical choice until you do a hell of a lot of logic lol... then its illogical. I believed, then didn't, and now I believe again... it wasn't a big period that I didn't believe, but it was a bit suffocating for me and it felt like something was missing in me... so I prayed to a God I knew didn't exist... out loud, for hours, and POOF the thing inside of me is back & I believe again.

When I was a Born Again, I honestly couldn't comprehend life without the existence of God.
I didn't understand what it was like to be an Atheist, because I was fully reliant on God's existence for my value and meaning in life.
Its not without brutal honesty and a complete reliance on reason that believers break out of the cycle that causes so many people so much harm around the world.
That is why I give them a pass when they talk about hell and Love in the same sentence. Their belief forces them to ignore some of the things that are obvious to Atheists, who have a more pragmatic view of religion.
I hope that one day, a majority of mankind will start to rely on reason and education, rather than superstition and faith, that always ends in violence and hate.

An atheist is a person who does not believe in any gods or dieties. Most atheists are really great people who are very tolerant. They accept and respect those with differing beliefs.
(I say this because some of them do not accept or respect us; they hate us.)
Atheists are not Satanists. They have high morals and are kind hearted. Most of them are very intelligent.
They're good people and are just like anyone else except that they don't believe.
Atheists find it as hard to believe in a god as we find it hard NOT to believe in one.
Am I right?

i'm a God believer. a million. Definetly not bitter. 2.Your an atheist because you do not prefer accountabilty on your ethical sense. 3. You ask questions reason you prefer to sense which you would be able to justify your ideals. 4. you will possibly not call out to God on the tip, reason the certainty would be hidden from you. a genuine atheist does not exist, reason you may not be responsive to for specific if there is not any God, for this reason you're particularly an agnostic. If there is not any God, the place did remember come from. If it pre-existed how did existence come from it. there is not any data of Evolution, none. in case you may take a seat on earth for 2million years, i might such as you to verify what share autos that accidently fall from the sky, residences being accidently build, oh yeah and by some skill we got here from rocks colliding jointly that magically have been there. So how do i be responsive to God exist, its glaring. definite perhaps this could be a video sport, and such, yet even nonetheless there must be a maker. or maybe its reason i attempted to seek for the certainty, and the spirit of God got here interior me. a genuine Christian continuously would be a Christian reason its a certainty to him, basically like all of us be responsive to fireside is warm no remember what somebody could let us know. So i be responsive to how did God get right here? are you able to count quantity from - infinity to + infinity nope if numbers and area have not have been given any ending why could God be sure with the help of them. theory of Relativilty proves time does not exist. yet do not take my be conscious for it. Have as plenty relaxing sinning as you like, yet don't be suprised once you die, in the adventure that your status earlier God, and he judges you for of your sin. you will have not have been given any possibility. Jesus got here to the Earth for a reason , and rose returned from the lifeless. If there became no God, what human had the skill to conjure up the assumption. attempt making up a clean shade on your ideas impossible. 0.5 the those that declare to be Christians are not. Why through fact they have self assurance that God is all merciful, and that they could stay notwithstanding they please and be forgiven. authentic you'll be forgiven of all issues, yet while your not attempting to cease sin, then you definately are fake. So there is not any suprise if those so talked approximately as christians save on with your define.

I understand.
What a lot of believers can't comprehend is that someone can say that in all the world, known and unknown, that there is no room for even the hint that there is something greater than ones-self. That being said let me paint a small picture for you, we as humans use only 8% of our brain, science says we know roughly 3% of the universe and the other universes that may or may not exist. Can you say with 100% clarity that thier is not room for belief that God could be out thier? Just a thought.
Just my two-cents.

I think some believers are afraid they would go straight to hell for even considering the thought that god doesn't exist. So they won't even let it into their minds, least they be damned. Therefore, probably would not even admit to honest doubt.
I don't need or want "proof" of a god's existence. My morals, values, principles and, well, intelligence stop me cold from "believing in" or "worshiping" the evil, cold hearted lunatic totalitarian called "god" in the bible.
No offense, just opinion : )

Understand? Certainly.
'Really understand'? Not sure what the word 'really' adds to the question.
You think you understand faith. That seems like an honest attempt at least to get some idea of what it means. Do you think you could have a word with one R. Dawkins, who writes terrific science, but hasn't the first idea what faith is about, please?

There's a lot of deists who think atheists are just /saying/ they don't believe in god, and we're just deluding ourselves. Not sure why they think we're doing this. For a bet? For the crack?
