I do not have the philosophy that I have because I think it to be 'good' and other ones 'evil'.
I have it because, as far as I can tell, it matches the reality of the universe.
I think that it is better for people to accept the universe as it is and then deal with it, rather than construct an elaborate delusional version that they can feel warm and fuzzy about. But I am not going to really persuade anyone by trying to bribe them.
If the Pope declared that he would give $100,000 to anyone who swears that they are a Catholic (and why not, he's good for it) then I would be in that line. It would not make any change to my non-belief in God, but it would make me $100,000 richer.

I treat anyone with kindness and respect who do so to me, that does not change because of a label.
Atheism doesn't promise anything, it is merely a stance on whether deities are real. A good person who was a theist and becomes an atheist still remains a good person - the label doesn't change the person.

Why would I "offer" anyone anything to change their beliefs? that amounts to bribery, which is a form of dishonesty, and corrupts both the offerer and the expector/recipient. Belief, in ANY direction, is a choice made at the personal level. Let's let each other believe as we will, and simply discuss, in peace, those beliefs, and not attack anothers reason for believing as they do, nor interpret all questions AS attacks.

Real Morality.
Understanding of the Earth and the Universe, based on measurable data.
A real hope in the future and in mankind.
Religion offers non of these things. Morality in religion is dictated by one's flavor and understanding of God and scripture, not by his neighbors that he must spend life with.
Understanding in Religion is based on text written by men who didn't have a clue about basic physics or scientific law.
Religion claims that mankind is inherently evil, and that believers should fear the world and their neighbors. It teaches that the future will get worse and worse, until a God must return and destroy the earth. THIS IS NEGATIVE.
Atheism offers a positive way of life, to those that are capable of choosing it.

We have to bribe people now? Man. What ever happened to the good old days when people became atheists because it made sense to them? Okay, hold on...
I can give someone $11 if they want to become an atheist. That's the best I can do right now.

If someone chooses to be an atheist it is not my job nor anyone else's to encourage him/her. That is an individual choice. It is up to the individual to seek answers. A secure person doesn't need anyone to support their beliefs or lack of. We don't need to spread 'our word' or give promises. Only promises I give are to myself.

Sorry, no version of Pascal's Wager for atheism. You don't get anything in exchange for being an atheist, you just get a clear, unclouded mind.

Isn't the truth it's own reward?
Enticement with streets paved of gold already belongs to believers.
