So here in Iowa we had an ice/snow storm and it was terrible! My husband walked to work (it was that bad and living in a court, there's only one way to drive out) and I'm here with 2 little girls..My neighbor was out snowblowing our sidewalk AND driveway..(she's a widow and I'm guessing around 50 or 60 years old!) I couldn't believe it! We moved in about a year ago and really haven't said much to each other..So, here's my question, without taking 2 little ones out in the ice, I wanted to do something for my neighbor..Of course I used the vanilla icing the other night..UGH..I have devil's food cake mix and chocolate frosting, so I thought I'd take over some cookies..I can only find recipes that call for the cookies made from devil's food cake W/O the pudding in it..Well, the box I have does have pudding in the mix..Does anyone know how to make cookies from a cake mix?

I don't have chocolate chips :o( I don't want to drive to the store either..It's pretty bad outside...Those would have been the ones that I wanted to make..Or sugar cookies, but of course I used the white icing the other night...

I called Pilsbury..1 cake mix..1/2 butter..1 egg..Bake at 350 for 9-12 minutes..We wrapped them, made a homemade card, and dropped them off..What a terrific woman for doing that for us!
