Some people here said that the Holocaust is in denial. Some people are now beginning to deny that man went to the moon. Do YOU believe astronauts have been to the moon?

PAPERBACK: The reason why I put those two together, is because people are now denying both of these turning points in history. They are now denying both of these facts.
I think you might be interested in this. I read this a while ago, that John Glenn (or another famous astronaut), has gotten into a fight with a group of people because they said that there was no moon landing. He was angered by their lie and got into the fight. He told the people how they could even spread the lie when he was on the moon himself. I think that people are trying to cover this up because they can't make it to the moon anymore. Ugh!

HOPELESS: Yes, I agree with you. I mean the astronauts are physical evidence of the moon landing.

I can't believe that people are actually believing this propaganda. Only if the astronauts heard what some of you are saying!

Your post is really interesting Spreeze! Ever seen the film CAPRICORN ONE? If you haven't, get hold of a DVD, I think you'll enjoy it!

A while back I read a fascinating series of articles about the lunar landings, and about the theory that we never actually went there. It was rather seductive; those that argue for it seem able to answer all the points raised by NASA.

I almost believed it, so persuasive were they!

Until I found a truly detailed piece of writing by a photographer. With the utmost attention to detail, he went through every single point made by the 'moon landings were hoaxed' proponents - and he addressed them properly.

Still, though, it's a tantalising idea, isn't it? That we never went at all...

Again, I urge you to watch CAPRICORN ONE. Anyone at all interested in conspiracy theories will enjoy it!

I should note that Holocaust denial, and the moon landing conspiracy are TOTALLY different.

Very few people witnessed what happened during the moon landings. Whereas the Holocaust is one of the most well documented episodes in history.

CHRISTOPHER - how can you say we forgot that movie when I just mentioned it?!!!

EDIT TO SPREEZ

yes, I can understand that the astronauts themselves must find it infuriating!

I saw the documentary on the idea it was all staged, and they did make some compelling arguments. Then I saw another documentary on how the first one came to there conclusions. I'm was on the fence, but some films on U tube made me come arround.

I guess a lot of people on here forgot about the movie "Capricorn One" about the whole "mission to the moon" in July of 1969 to be a studio staged hoax.......you might want to check out the trailer on Netflix.........

My take on it??? We spent billions on three trips to the moon, and haven't been back since 1972.......so, it's just a big rock in space......

Neil Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface on July 20, 1969. His words seemed to say it all: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Cheers!
