One is made with grapes and one is made with hops and barley for instance. Plus you have no carbonation in wine unless it is sparkling or Champagne. The alcohol content is usually much higher in wines because they are sweeter the more sugar the higher the alcohol content some sweet wines can be like 13% per volume. Average is around 9-10% where as beer is around 4-8.5% I'm in Canada so if your in the states everything is different. Really if you want a really broad explanation go to a library and research it.

Wine is stronger. Try it out for yourself. Get a bottle of wine and a can of beer and drop a brick on each of them from a first floor window. The brick will more than likely just bounce off the wine but it'll crush the beer.

Beer is good for you. So is wine. Hmmmm. Maybe they're not so different after all.

But I don't remember seeing wine in a 6-pack.

Wine - fermented water, grapes and various fruits.

Beer - fermented water, wheat, hops, barley and malt.

Besides that... flavor and alcohol content*. Beer is carbonated and unless it is champagne, wine isn't.

*Beer averages about 5% ABV and wine 11% ABV, but there is actually the same amount of alcohol per serving or 12oz beer or 8oz wine.

Have you perhaps consumed too much of either?

Tip: Never mix grain and grape. Choose to drink one or the other, or you'll be ill. However if you insist on breaking this 'rule', apply the following 'beer after wine, you'll be fine; Wine after beer, you'll be queer (not that type of queer. jeez)

beer is made up of wheat and is taken cold and is sour in taste
Wine is made up of grapes and is taken at room temp and is sweet in taste.
Sparkling wine or champagne is taken chilled.

Both are totally different drinks and their production method is totally different.

For Wine old is gold formula applies, not for beer
