A Banana is a Banana and no banana will make your hair grow faster. Hair growth is a genetic thing and on average grows a 6 inches a year. The minerals from banana might help your hair but there is no silver bullet for hair growth. Hair doesn't grow faster when you trim it. The best thing you can do is do not blow dry, dye, curl crimp or do anything along those lines. Treat your hair gently.

Hi there! I've tried plenty of stuff but I will tell you of those that helped me. The best food to ingest are protein rich food such as beans, fish and eggs but you can try out some other types of protein rich food. Do not use chemicas reguarly to relax your hair. You can use them after 2 months and the best way is to pait you hair. The more you don't comb you natural hair is the more you give it time to grow without any disturbance. You can use baby shampoo to rinse dirt from your hair as it consist of no harsh chemicals. Wash you hair only once or twice a week or even after 10 days. After washing your hair try to massage it with hair ois such as Amla oil or coconut oil hair food. Not only should you take in proteins but try to have a balance of vitamins in your body. Take vitamins such as vitamin A, calcium and phosphorus and B vitamins. Iron is also good especially for the blood. If you can't take in all these vitamins go and find molasses and drink it at least once a day. Instead of moisturizers on my scalp I prefer glycerine. I hope this helps you.

Diet helps hair without question (although 90% of the population including doctors will disagree) this is because the nutrients oin a healthy, preferably vegan diet, go to the rest of the body before it goes to help the hair. Thus you must eat a very healthy diet to get hair benefits from diet. If you mash bananas on your head, which is done in many cultures, the nutrients will immediately seep into the hair and scalp and this will aid hair health

sorry honey, only protein can help hair growth, and that when you are a man losing it naturally!

Eat a load of bananas and you will end up in the hospital with potassium poisoning just liek Peter Andre did. God knows if he was trying to grow his hair, but there we go.

Over ripe bananas have more sugar and vitamins in them that underripe ones. These are more likely to hurt you.

Keep your hair healthy! If you apply any heat (blow dryer, curling or straightening iron) ALWAYS use a protecting spray, cream or oil. Carrots, Avacados, Watermelon, Bananas and just about every type of green veggie is great for hair. Milk and Water is also good. I take Biotin supplements and Iron, fish Oil and prenatal vitamins. They're really good for hair growth, especially the biotin. Healthy Hair is Happy Hair! (:

I do not believe that bananas make your hair grow faster. Your hair grows at the same rate, regardless of what you ingest or what you put on it, unless you damage it and break the ends off. Even then, it still grows, at the same rate as it always has, but seems to take longer.

bananas don't make your hair grow any faster. the only way to get your hair to grow faster is to keep it healthy: stop using heat on your hair (hair curlers, hair dryers, straighteners) because heat causes breakage and stops the hair from growing, and to get it trimmed every so often so you reduce the amount of split ends.

Its a lie.
Hair grows 1/2 in a month no matter how many bannanas or whatever else you eat.
Theres no magic diet to make your hair grow a foot overnight.
