there is this person i really like and vise versa, what should i do about x-mas?

she gets back from college at the end of this week, but she told me i can ask her out when she gets back, which im going to do the beginning of next week, before x-mas week, we had some fling for 4 years but nvr asked eachother out, untill know, so what should i do about x-mas, should i give her something even tho we are going to officially date for 1 week, dont worry about the college situtation she's only 2 hours away, so long distance isnt that bad.....
