Check henrys.com. He is a Canadian with a real store plus he sells a lot on ebay. I've been well-satisfied with buying from him.

i would say that E-bay is quite a good place to find your D40 Kit.
you may not trust it as there are alot of scammers around. but trust me, i got my Canon 40D there and it arrived in a blink of an eye and it was slightly cheaper than in the shops and the bundled items given are quite good. but be sure to pick the best resaler and check their rating.
i recomend the user cametaauctions or jandkcameras as they are very good power sellers and their offers are just great.
take your time at e-bay and you will soon find the perfect package for a low price.

Your best bet is to shop at Henry's -- they have the best selection and the folks there are pretty sharp.
BUT before U do...surf over to www.cameracanada.com where you may find a better price.
Print out the cameracanada page and I'll bet Henry's will meet the price or beat it.
