I think he's definitely off-limits.
#1. He's married.
#2. He didn't even mention this to you! Which means that he'd willingly cheat on his wife.
#3. If he can cheat on his wife, obviously if you ever went out with him, there is the possibility that he would cheat on you.
He's not trustworthy, and definitely not worth your time. He may sound charming, but if he's never mentioned that he's married (even if he's separated), you definitely shouldn't go out with him; it would cause a lot of trust issues.
