what are the syptoms of ADD, and is ADD the same thing as ADHD?

Everyone has ADD or ADHD lol If you look for it you have it.

You really can't tell if you have add or adhd, but only a psychiatrist can help you with that they will do some type of screening. As from what I know ADD makes you blurt out answers, and you cannot concentrate and you are always distracted. As for ADHD it is the same as ADD except that hyperactivity is involved. Hope that helps.

You must be evaluated by a professional team versed in ADD/ADHD. They will give you a 700 point test, interview family, friends and teachers, etc. It is not a simple test you take online like a pharma company has on a website to boost their sales.

ADD can be other things and you need to rule out those other things first.

A very good book I suggest is "The ADD Book" by Sears and Thompson. It goes into great detail about ways you can help yourself deal with it if that is in fact what you have.
