im doing work on word and i want to see how it will look (like in print preview) when i prints as i type it

at the minute it is showing text right at the very top of the page, but whenever i go to print preview it is spaced like it should be.

when i go to the view options it is set at print layout already so its not that.

Point the cursor at the top of the sheet. When two opposite little arrow appear double click to show the white space.
Have a look at this page too:

Not sure if this will work for Word 2007 (it works for Word 2002), but try this:

1. Find the solid black line between the pages.
2. Click it with the cursor.

An alternative way to do this is:

1. Click the Tools->Options menu item.
2. Click the View tab.
3. Under Print and Web Layout Options, put a check in the check box for White Space Between Pages,
4. Click OK.

Good luck.
