What's the point of Christianity if they keep committing "sins" knowing that they will be saved and forgiven by Jesus Christ every single time?

What you say just about sums it up...accepting Christ through baptism offers a freedom from the lifelong guilt of sin, allowing us to forgive ourselves just as God forgives us. If I am reading you right, it looks like you are arguing that since we will be picked up every time we fall, we can sin as much as we want. Well, this may be true, but I don't want to test it and find out! Just because there is forgiveness doesn't mean there aren't consequences in this life, let alone the next. Getting drunk is probably a lot of fun, but the consequences of this often leads to ruined relationships, divorce, abuse, and broken homes. It's not that God doesn't want us to have fun and enjoy alcohol as one of his creations, he just doesn't want it to have a negative impact on our lives and the lives of those around us. Too much of anything is hardly ever good, and based on examples and teachings from scripture, I think it's fine to have a beer or two in the proper setting, but that to lose control and get hammered is not appropriate in any setting because you no longer are capable of making responsible decisions. I'd love to go on, but there is so much to discuss on the issue, so I'll leave it as it is in its very brief and summarized form. Hope you have a better understanding of where I am coming from as a Christian, and I hope you have a fantastic day!

The majority of Christians don't believe that. In fact, only about 15% of Christians believe that, and half of those live in the United States.

Take a look at some Christian demographics. Roman Catholics are the largest Christian denomination, and account for over half of all Christians. The second largest Christian denomination is Eastern Orthodox, and the third is Episcopalian. None of them believe that a person can be saved by the act of accepting Jesus.

Otherwise, the point of Christianity was never "escaping hell" in the first place.

But that's not exactly how it works, is it?

A person is saved from their former sinful life. In order to be saved you must repent of your sins. To repent means to walk in a different direction. So.... if you keep doing the same old stuff the same old way and expecting to be forgiven, then you haven't repented, have you? Then you aren't exactly saved.

When a person is truly saved, they are a new person, they really are. This whole trying to get around the "law" of Christianity doesn't even hold water, for it's not about law, it's about the heart.

You have to understand there is first a difference in unknowing sin and bold sin. But point blank sin is the reason Christ sacrificed his life so that we may be forgiven through repentance. People speak so candidly about this subject but fail to search the word fir themselves and allow Gods spirit to move them. Repentance is the first act necessary to be forgiven of sin. Some people sin and continue because they use Jesus as a crutch for forgiveness. But it doesn't specifically work that way. You have to go to God for yourself and ask him to truly remove a sinful spirit away from you but God is not a Genie. At the same token of you asking for forgiveness you have to be willing to give that bad spirit bad taste or sin to God. Also you must understand We are human and live in a flesh body so we at times will sin. Noone is saying that Christians dont sin that is what outside people want to believe about us. To be of God is a work in progress therefore you battle with sin each day.

Hey, first of all we ALL sin, not just Christians. Secondly, we try our best not to, however being the carnal creatures we are and subjected to our carnal desires, we sometimes allow the lusts and desires of our flesh body to rule over our spiritual body (our inner self), and in doing so we fall short and sin. But that's the beauty of Christianity we can be forgiven when we sin and ask for forgiveness.
It's not as though we intentionally sin (although I'm sure some do)knowing that we will be forgiven, but when we have a moment of weakness and do so because of our infirmities, that God allows us to be forgiven just by asking for it in Jesus' name, thus documenting our faith in Jesus and the fact that he made the ultimate sacrifice for our sins (all of us) upon the cross. He being totally innocent of any sins became the "one time" blood sacrifice for all of us,thus doing a way with the blood ordinances for remission of sins under the old covenant. The old covenant now being replaced with the new covenant, whereby we now upon believing upon Jesus Christ and what He did for us can ask for forgiveness in His name.

You can only be saved once otherwise you would be crucifying Christ over and over again. When you sin you ask forgiveness and you are to learn and not repeat the same sin.The disciples asked Christ how many times should we forgive one another and Jesus replied 7 x 70.Murders cannot be forgiven while in the flesh that's why capital punishment is just, the same for rapists .God says send them to me for judgment.God Bless.

The point for most believers is to know God and enjoy a relationship with him and others. Sin gets in the way of being of service to God and our fellow humans. We will always be prone to sin or falling short of the ideal, but that is literally the nature of the beast.
Christianity isn't about sinless perfection or not making mistakes, it's about God's grace reaching out to us and helping us live the kind of life God intended for us before the foundation of the world.
Some of us believe salvation is about the process of God saving us over time, not at a once for all moment of time, unless that moment happened when the Lamb of God was slain to remove the sin of the world...

No, you need to settle for Him because of the fact the Son of God, because of the fact of this he's God in flesh. inspect this passage: Luke 23:40-40 3 however the different, answering, rebuked him, asserting, "Do you no longer even worry God, seeing you're under the comparable condemnation? John 5:18 states: 18For this reason the Jews tried all the greater good to kill him; no longer in user-friendly terms exchange into he breaking the Sabbath, yet he exchange into even calling God his very own Father, making himself equivalent with God. that is clean that the early followers of Christ believed that Christ exchange into God in flesh or no less than in some why shape or style one hundred% equivalent with God. in spite of in case you inspect Christ being nailed on a go. This exchange right into a curse to Jewish people and that they've been to furnish their existence for yet another Jew - yet yet they for sure gave Him over - Why? because of the fact it exchange into lawful to convict to loss of life on the go individual who claimed to be God. that is why that they had no situation with it. Even Peter's Church , which we nonetheless understand the area has imprinted on the partitions the worshipof Christ as God or Diety. So no, you could no longer settle for Christ with out particularly accepting who he's, and that's God in flesh. we live in an age the place we've not have been given any situation re-defining christianity and what it potential to be christian, yet neither the way nor the Diety of Christ has replaced. and that's regardless of denomination nor age.

Your assumption is incorrect. One can not continue in sin "knowing" they will be saved. Those who continue to live as though the never were saved- were not saved in the first place.
I assure you-once a person is born again-they become a different person. If they are not drastically different-then they missed the boat. I do not mean that "act" different-they "are" different.
