Do looks really matter that much in a woman?

Well I will say for me, looks are not the top priority. However there has to be a physical attraction I think. Remember I am not saying its the most important but if, by either party, there is no physical attraction, how would it work? There has to be an attraction physically as well of the personalities. I think that all factors matter, and for me, looks is not the most important of all things I look for but yes it does matter to some degree.

The keyword here is "too". I have to have intelligence and personality in my woman. But I like having an attractive woman. Face it, I want both :-)
Will I not talk to someone because of their looks? No. But it might affect how attracted I am to them physically.
But don't worry about this. There is no standard for beauty. It's all in the eye of the beholder.

A woman should look like she cares about her looks and does what she can to look good.
A woman who tries to keep herself healthy, and dresses nice is going to get alot more attention than some one who eats nothing but junkfood and wears sweats all the time.
It's the same way for men, a fat guy who walks around with a cheeto-stained wife beater and sweat-pants that are two sizes too big isn't going to get too many ooos and ahhs from the ladies.

What does "that much" even mean? Of course looks matter, as they have a lot to do with the initial attraction, but if you want a deeper connection or lasting relationship, it requires much more than a pretty face or a nice body.

well.... not really. Personality is more important. When a guy falls in love with a not-so-attractive woman, it's because of personality and at that time is when the guy is more happy than he ever was, when he is in love.

In todays society unfortunately looks play a major role. A persons beauty is what defines them now a days which isnt right but that is how we roll in society.

yeah looks matter and if any guy says otherwise hes pretty much lieing it doesnt play a huge role tho.. id say about 40%

Looks aren't all of it. Looks just attract us in and then we fall in love with your personality. After that, looks are just a big bonus
