A taxi would likely depending on the hour of the day from 1 hour or more to get there. Cost is probably from 250THB to 500THB Plus the 50THB airport fee. Again depending on the how long it does take you.

There is the Airport Express bus that cost 150THB, below is the link to the info on the Airport Express and the Suvarnabhumi Airport.

If you are going to a specific hotel and have a lot of bags or more than one bag. It might behoove you to take a taxi especially if you are on a schedule. If not, enjoy the ride on the bus.

Good luck

It took about an hour to ride from Khao San to the airport in a taxi. We did not take the toll roads, so there was more traffic than if we had. It cost about 250 baht, but we did have to haggle with several drivers to get that price.

it would take you a good hour to get to khao san road depending on the traffic. the cost would be about 250 baht, plus 50 baht airport fee, and tolls for expressway of 65 baht (two tolls one 25 baht and one 40 baht. recommend the expressway as it is so much faster. if you do take a taxi take only a meter taxi, those idiots who approach you at the airport terminal will over charge you with a flat rate. you can also take a bus from the bus terminal it will cost about 150 baht and I believe one of the bus routes take you to khao san road.

The bus number E1 from recollection costs 100 baht (again from recollection), anyway its cheap and air conditioned. Just go out of the airport main terminal and you will see some seats, opposite is the ticket booth. Very very easy. Have fun

about 300 baht going by metered taxi on the expressway..

it depends on how many of you are sharing the taxi, if there are 2 of you or more, then it will be cheaper and wiser to take taxi rather than bus.. saves time and more confortable..
