I know what it's like to be financially stressed out, sweetheart, is there ANYONE that you could borrow the money from so that you can either buy the medication and/or get your kitten checked out? I f you think your cat is different and seems sick, she probably is...cats do tend to isolate when they are sick, antisocial(not to be confused with independent) is not a good sign either. If you have been going to the same vet for awhile and have established a good rapport, talk to them openly and honestly about your situation...they may be willing to work out payments. If not, call the Humane Society or SPCA, they may have special info for you about low or no-cost alternatives. Good luck, feel free to add me to yr contacts and/or email me with any other questions. Im the proud father of a 10 yr. old baby girl, she is the love of my life.

You have to get this cat to a vet. You know she has worms - this could be a pretty serious infestation if her stomach feels weird and is hurting her. Don't leave her in this condition - you're the owner, you have a responsibility to her to get her help asap.

At the moment this problem may be very cheap to treat. Leave it longer, and it won't be.

If she isn't acting as she use to that means something is wrong. To relieve some of the worms you could buy a wormer at Wal-mart or another store for now then when you have the money bring her in for a vet check-up.

Stop the excuses! It is her RIGHT by law to receive proper medical care and to deny it is abuse. When you took on the cat you also took on the responsibility for her health and welfare. Financial responsibility is part of pet ownership. If you can't afford to properly care for your pet then you have no right to have one at all!

There are vets that will take monthly payments and you would know that if you'd ever gotten up off your lazy butt and done the research. Stop wasting time on the computer talking to strangers. If you have THAT kind of extra time, you should get a job to pay for the vet!! If you can afford a monthly cell phone bill, a new pair of shoes, or a pizza, then you can afford to get the care your cat is entitled to BY LAW. It's all a question of priorities.

Sounds like bloat from worms, vets are expensive but isn't there a PDSA or something near you that does it much cheaper or even free in some cases?
