Hi, I was wondering how my eating was today.
Breakfast
1 piece of whole wheat toast: 100 cal
1 tsp of peanut butter
yogurt: 150 cal
water

Lunch:
Salad with olives, carrots, and tuna
1 tblsp of low fat dressing
100 calorie granola bar

Snacks:
3 chocolate covered pretzels
1 apple with peanut butter
1 piece of muenster cheese

For dinner I plan on having
Grilled Chicken
Steamed green beans
and 1/2 cup of rice

So, how did I do?

Not too shabby...I really like egg beaters...they have no fat calories.

overall you ate very well.
three things...
>cut out the chocolate pretzels. they are yummy but kill the diet. try saving them for a dessert or treat once a week.
>try making all your grain whole grains. eat brown rice. fiber is a wonderful thing :)
>you might need to eat more calories as weird as that sounds. it depends how tall you are and if you exercise... if you are tall and exercise a lot you should eat no less than 1800 calories. but if you are short and don't get any activity you should still eat no less than 1600 calories. try loading up on the veggies to bring up the calorie count... they are good for you and non-fat :)

P.S. the cheese is actually okay. it has a high fat density but still provides the vitamins you need to get from dairy. and besides, muenster cheese is amazing :)

and if you want to keep track of this yourself you can look up calorie counts on everything you eat on sites like caloriecount.com

GOOD LUCK!

throw some veggies in there and get rid of the peanut butter and you'll be in good shape

depending on your porportions you're probably not eating enough, and breakfeast could def. be bigger.
