I've always wondered why so many people think that alcohol is a good thing to have when in reality, it does more harm than good for anyone.

You are absolutely right...stay on this track and you should be fine...
The others, however, have a lot to learn...alcohol, does in fact, do more harm than good.
For these people, it may seem all in good fun, but you can be sure that there is something more going on with them than what meets the eye.
You've got good sense...keep it and this way of thinking throughout your life....because you are right...YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME EXCEPT A GOOD ATTITUDE AND A GOOD PERSONALITY...

Why are there so many people that need to judge others for what they chose to do? I am sick and tired of uptight people getting down on those of us that like to unwind with a good drink. I'm not hurting you, I don't drive drunk. I don't beat up my girlfriend and I am not a burden on my family. Instead of judging us why don't you take a nice hard look at yourself and figure out why eff you feel the need to be judgmental in the first place!

And just for your information alcohol used in moderation has far more health benefits! Wine and beer are not only full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, but are also considered a heart-healthy drink. People with or without heart disease or high blood pressure are encouraged to consume 1 to 2 drinks per day.

Beer is widely believed to be the primary reason we turned from being hunter gatherers with a nomad life style to an agricultural society. Beer was the first manufactured food stuff between 9 and 10 thousand years ago. It has been the center of religious life since the beginning of time. Remember what Christ blessed at the last supper? It wasn't grape juice. On top of that, if it wasn't for beer and wine the human race would have been wiped out long ago. During the middle ages, water sources in most of Europe and the Middle East were contaminated and killing people by the millions. Since beer is pasteurized the microbes that infected the water couldn't exist in it.

Chew on that for a little while.

Because a lot of people actually do need to drink alcohol to have fun. Drinking makes one more socially uninhibited. I probably would have never spoken to a woman in a social situation for my entire life if it wasn't for alcohol.

Wine is the perfect end to a perfect day.
Beer is the perfect end to a horrible day.

Some of us really enjoy the taste of fermented, brewed or distilled beverages.
Some of us need to be a little drunk before we get naked with someone else for the first time.
Some of us are just really pissed off, and are taking it out on our livers.
Some of us like the way it makes other people more willing to listen to our long-winded opinions.
Some of us are hung-over, and need a beer.

There are as many reasons to drink as there are ex-girlfriends in the world

i do no longer think of I ought to drink to have relaxing. In some circumstances and with the nicely suited employer that is relaxing to drink, it could make you greater comfortable. For me it ought to be a secure subject. no person's driving, and the individuals ought to be getting alongside and that i've got faith effective there wont be any struggling with. i think of if somebody is of legal age, and now and then desires to socially drink, have some laughs and basically have a robust time, then that is advantageous. yet i could have a robust time and not touch a drop of alcohol.

have you ever even considered the thought that people have fun without alcohol and then partying is just another style of their fun? It doesnt make that person fun only because they drink its jsut something to do and besides drinking games are so much fun and also competitive. dont be so rediculous and quick to judge other people all of you are jokes.

alcohol makes you not able to be aware of anything. So if you are very mad about something or mad at someone some people just drink. I also heard that your brain response or sends signals to your body slower. I think it is nasty.
But when they are at partys I think they drink to be cool, silly, and or funny.

Well, unless you're doing it everyday or everyweek for a couple of years straight then you'll start getting problems.

I guess alcohol is what makes socializing fun.

I don't need to drink to have fun, but sometimes it's fun to drink!

If someone feels they HAVE to be drinking to have a good time, there's a problem. There's nothing wrong with having some tasty adult beverages, though.
